What does the Algomap Bootcamp entail?
We offer an all-inclusive, personalized program to crack FAANG without quitting your current role. You'll get 1 on 1s with your mentor, behavioural help, + group DSA and system design classes... all live and interactive... and we don't stop until you hit your objective (genuinely, we'll be legally bound to it, terms apply).
What do you mean crack FAANG "without quitting your day job"?
Everything we do makes sure you get to the next chapter of your life WITHOUT leaving what's currently supporting you. You pick the time for our 1 on 1s, and our group sessions for DSA and System Design run remotely live in the evenings after work. We know you're busy - we certainly are too!

Who is the teacher?
The teacher of the Algomap Bootcamp (+ CEO of the company / guy in the above video), is Greg Hogg. Greg is an alumni of Canada's most rigorous engineering university, UWaterloo; he's an ex-AI researcher who's published medical papers with Deepbreathe, a startup that continues to make waves in the US military, and win awards due to his and other's research. He still does AI contracts with companies like Nvidia, HP and other big names today. Most importantly, Greg is one of, if not the most well-known teacher online for interview skills like DSA and System Design, with over 150 million organic views and 650k+ followers in the space. He mostly spends his days helping busy folks just like you get into the world's best software engineering roles at companies like FAANG, by running this program and creating other educational content.
How are the classes structured?
Group DSA and System Design classes are small, live cohorts that run at a fixed time in the evenings after work - exact time varies per batch. 1-on-1 sessions are customized to your exact gaps and are at a flexible time. Everything is live but also gets recorded in case you happen to be busy from time to time - there's no excuse for being too busy for this!
When is the next batch?
Our current batch has DSA in the evenings of September and October, and System Design in November - with 1 on 1's consistently throughout and starting immediately.
Where do classes happen?
All online via Google Meet / Google Classroom. We currently support anywhere in NA.
Are there any pre-requisites?
No. We consider this approachable to all and easy to none. If you're looking for the "easy" way - that doesn't exist, and having this mindset would get you rejected from our program. We teach everything from the ground up, so there is technically no pre-requisites, but the more skilled you already are, the faster we can help you achieve your objective.
Do you only help with FAANG?
No - although it's the most common objective we see and what we're best at. We train you for FAANG so that you're prepared for it, but if you're not quite ready for that yet, we'll help you with your stepping stones to get there as well.
Do you help with resumes, applying, referrals etc?
Absolutely - we even have current FAANG members come in on Fridays to help you out with this stuff.
Do you help analysts, data engineers, ML engineers, AI engineers, etc?
Yes - DSA and System Design is almost always required for any such software heavy role, including the data and AI ones. We will cover the rest where applicable in the 1 on 1s (Greg has quite the ML and data background).
Do you do ISAs (Income Share Agreements)?
No, it's weird these things are even legal. We take an up-front fee.
Do I get guaranteed placement?
Could a gym guarantee you a 6-pack? No? Why? It depends on the person, obviously. No - we can't legally guarantee jobs - it's insane that some companies try to make these bogus claims… we instead guarantee support until you hit your objective (terms apply).
Does everyone get accepted into the program?
Absolutely not. Our time is valuable and we will not waste it on those that we deem are a bad fit. We're serious about helping you achieve your objective, but our approach isn't going to work for all individuals.
How much does it cost?
There is an up-front investment when you begin our program. Payment plans may be provided on a case by case basis, eligibility rules apply.
